For a good cause: Get healthy into 2019 with the ROBIOTIC Weight Loss Challenge!

Dear partners, customers, friends and readers,

the whole ROBIOTIC team wishes you all a healthy, happy and successful 2019!

The Christmas delicacies and the drinks at the turn of the year have been eaten and drunk. Between the years, we also spent some nice hours with our loved ones and reviewed the previous ROBIOTIC adventure. We are really grateful for the encouragement, the overwhelming feedback and the trust that our customers and partners have placed in us so far. This is one of the reasons why we are starting the new year with good intentions and the drive to give something back!

The ROBI-Challenge - members

This year we are particularly motivated and we want to combine the strenuous with the helpful - so we make sure that words are followed by deeds!

The ROBIOTIC management team is therefore launching the joint "ROBIOTIC Weight Loss Challenge" today.

The participants Christian Bachschmid, Thomas Krekeler, Ralf Krippner and Dietmar Meding delivered their initial weight this morning on time and with a photo of proof on the scales. The team of referees was personally and visually convinced of the authenticity of the data.

the ROBIOTIC Weight Loss Challenge

The challenge can begin!

The four protagonists have until April 30, 2019 to lose at least 10 kilograms (22 lb) of weight. Through sport, healthier nutrition and many other things. The one who can prove the greatest weight loss in the end will be declared the winner. The wager will benefit the Nepal AG of the Abt Bessel Realschule in Buchen (Odenwald), which has been supporting social projects in Nepal for several years with high personal commitment:

the ROBIOTIC Weight Loss Challenge

Each participant donates 10 €/11.37 US $ for every 100 grams/3.5 oz that he or she keeps below the agreed minimum target of 10 kilograms/22lb (example: participant achieves only 8.0 kilograms/17 lb weight loss = 200 €/227.38 $ in the donation pot).

ROBIOTIC donates 100 €/113.69 $ for every participant who achieves at least 10 kilograms/22lb of weight loss and 10 €/11.37 US $ for every 100 grams/3.5 oz that are exceeded.

In addition, the winner will receive five pounds of the - really delicious! - Nepal Bio Fairtrade coffee, which is marketed by Nepal AG.

The participants ranked in places 2, 3 and 4 at the end will not only support Nepal AG with their donations, but also with their personal commitment in packing the coffee, marketing and sales campaigns etc.

A second team goes into race!

Today, 09.01., a second team starts its Weight Loss Challenge, driven by the good resolutions of the ROBIOTIC Management Group. Jens Kautzor, Jürgen Schell and Jens Schnur renounce fast food and look forward to a healthy new year. Of course we also wish them much success and stamina!

The Nepal AG in Buchen

The Nepal AG of the Abt-Bessel-Realschule in Buchen was founded as a non-profit project and has meanwhile developed into a complete "student company" with over 20 active members.

Through several regular projects and campaigns, such as the Nepal Run or the marketing of fair trade coffee, a donation amount is generated every year that is really impressive.

Currently, not only eight earthquake-proof primary schools are being built with this money: The donations from Nepal AG also secure the salary and further training of several teachers - in this way the quality of teaching has already improved considerably in recent years!

The Nepal AG of the secondary school in Buchen - all help with

„Think global, act local“

is the principle of the Nepal AG, accompanied by a focus on: Sustainability, organic and fairness in trade: The AG buys the delicious organic coffee locally from the farmers in Nepal, has it roasted in local beech trees, packages it and then markets it locally.

the Buchener Nepal AG

We will keep all readers regularly informed about the progress of the Challenge here in the blog: In the next four months look forward to many entertaining, sporty and - who knows...? - unsportsmanlike anecdotes from the lives of our four weight loss protagonists and also from the various aid projects of the Buchener Nepal AG.

The goal of all four comrades-in-arms is very clear: to collect as many donations as possible through their own (body) efforts!

In this sense: Dhanyabad (Nepalese for "Thank you")! And all the best for 2019.
